Co-ordination Group

The role of the Co-ordination Group is to oversee the governance of the Alliance, to liaise with agencies, partners, and voluntary and community groups, to lobby bodies and respond to local policies and strategies, to steer and promote the work of the Alliance, and to broaden membership and representation on the Alliance from the community.

The group comprises the company directors, chairs of delivery groups, representatives from agencies, and members of the community.

With the launch of the Community Plan in 2006, the Alliance formed Delivery Groups to take forward actions and projects from the themes in the plan.  There are currently 4 groups.  All groups welcome new members, so if you would like to get involved in helping your community, please contact the relevant Delivery Group chairman.
